My name Is Arne and i live in the middle part of the country. I was born on 5 of October 1968 on a island call Frøya (IOTA Ref: EU-036), moved to Trondheim when i was 5 years old, and have lived here since then. The town Trondheim did celebrate it's millennium in 1997, perhaps we should done it long time ago. Trondheim is a city with roots back to the Viking age. A dramatic history filled with plague and devastating fires no less, but with a strong spiritual life and a fluorescing trade as well. How old is Trondheim? Historians seems unable to agree. If we are to trust the ancient sagas, the city was founded in the year 997. Archeological studies, however hear witness to earlier settlements. No matters how old Trondheim happens to be, its offers more history than most cities, more then i could write here. It will be to much.
